Through government or private R&D contracts, Sound & Bright continuously explores the applications of innovative technologies to improve the performance of Sound & Bright instruments and develop new inspection techniques.
Technical Expertise
Dr. Pouet, Chief Technical Officer of Sound & Bright, has extensive R&D experience in optics, acoustics, electronics and mechanics. Most of his work has been devoted to the development and improvement of optical and acoustic techniques for use in non-destructive evaluation. He has developed a novel laser ultrasound sensor based on multichannel random square interferometry and a twin-wave mix interferometer in photorefractive crystals.
