Illumina Tramp Headlight Test System

Modern automotive headlight technologies such as HID-, LED- or laser-based lamps, which can be combined with adaptive bend lighting and front light assistant, require precise and reproducible measurements to ensure standards and safety requirements.
This requires measurements and comparisons of glare and illumination values. This requires a controlled test environment in which illuminance can be measured as a function of distance but also of the angle of curvature, headlamp height and curve curvature.
With the Illumina Tramp System, multiple sensors simultaneously collect measurement data and GPS coordinates to provide IIHS compliant, accurate and reproducible information about the headlight.
