The right spectrometer for your application
Spectral range, technology, resolution? There are various criteria to consider when choosing an optical spectrometer. Depending on the application, there are different requirements that are expected of a spectrometer. To give you an initial orientation, we have listed various approaches to help you find the most suitable spectrometer for your application.
At the first level, our spectrometers can be differentiated either by application, e.g. fluorescence or Raman spectroscopy, by wavelength range, i.e. UV, VIS, NIR, or by the technology on which the spectrometer is based, often FT-IR or Czerny-Turner. From here, the determination of further secondary criteria such as the size of the spectrometer, the acquisition costs, the analysis speed, the signal-to-noise ratio, the dynamic range or the thermal stability will help to specify your spectrometer.
Our team will discuss all your questions with you personally and advise you on the various spectrometer options.
