Combined current and temperature controllers

Series 6300 by Arroyo Instruments features laser driver and temperature control in a single housing.
Various models with laser currents up to 4 Amp are available. For the higher voltage requirement of Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCL) there are special versions with up to 18 V compliance voltage. All devices are equipped with a powerful 60 Watt temperature controller. Overview

Two setting ranges for laser current allow a higher resolution when less than half of the maximum current is required.
All versions have special features not found in competing products. These include optically isolated photodiodes and modulation inputs and a programmable bias for the photodiode.
Furthermore, there are special protective circuits for the laser diode such as safety interlock, ESD protection and hardware limits for current and voltage.

The 60 Watt temperature controller offers a fully adjustable PID control with AutoTune function for automatic PID calculation as well as high-precision measurement of temperature, current and voltage. It supports all common sensor types like thermistor, LM335, AD590 and RDT.

All models can easily be operated via front panel or PC interface. Remote control software and LabVIEW drivers are available for free download.

The compact devices of the 685 ComboPak series with USB and RS-232 interface as well as an analog output for monitoring purposes are available for pure remote control in OEM applications.
