Beck Optronic Solutions, based in Hemel Hempstead, Great Britain, develops and produces optical systems to the highest technical standards. The company’s history goes back to 1839. The company has extensive engineering knowledge and production capabilities in the areas of UV, visible, near infrared, thermal imaging and CO2 laser wave bands and serves customers worldwide.
BOS offers prototype construction, series production, integration and assembly in clean rooms, final testing and qualification as well as after-sales support. The entire company works with a BSI-certified quality management system according to ISO 9001:2008 and, if required, works according to the corresponding MIL, DEF, DIN and ISO standards.
Beck Optronic Solutions is the successor of Davin Optronics. It is thus the company that first manufactured the original and world-famous reflective microscope lenses in 1904. They are based on a two-mirror system that is completely free of chromatic aberrations.
