Prof. Jim Hamilton, founder and owner of Photonic Cleaning (Platteville, USA), has developed a process to clean precision optics effectively and carefully. The cleaning polymer First Contact™ is applied to the soiled optics as dripping solution or spray and is removed as a film after drying. The result is clean, residue-free optics. The protective film can also be used as transport or handling protection.
The reference list of customers is international and long. The LIGO Laboratory is listed here as well as NASA or the operators of the space telescopes in Hawaii.
