WiDy SenS 320 and WiDy Sens 640
WiDy SenS 320
The WiDy SenS 320 is a high-speed camera and can be used for a wide range of applications thanks to its cost-effective design. With a QVGA resolution of 320 x 256 pixels and a pixel pitch of 15 µm, this camera offers solid image quality. The camera has a dual response behavior that is both linear and logarithmic. By installing the TE-cooled NSC 2001 sensor and the resulting temperature control, the specific properties of the sensor can be optimized. The WiDy SenS 320 is also compatible with a 30 mm cage system.
In the high-speed model, frame rates of 10 kHz (ROI) and an exposure time of 10 µs can be achieved.
The WiDy SenS 320 is available with the following interfaces:
- USB3.0 (also with the High Speed version)
- CameraLink
Applications
The WiDy SenS 320 can be used for industrial process monitoring, imaging and tracking of laser beam profiles, laser alignment as well as for research and development.
WiDy SenS 640
The WiDy SenS 640 is a high-sensitivity HDR camera with patented HDR technology. With a VGA resolution of 640 x 512 pixels and a pixel pitch of 15 µm, this camera delivers solid image quality. The camera has a dual response behavior that is both linear and logarithmic. By installing the TE-cooled NSC 2001 sensor and the resulting temperature control, the specific properties of the sensor can be optimized.
In contrast to the WiDy SenS 320, the WiDy SenS 640 has a “bad-pixel-replacement” and is equipped with intelligent non-uniformity correction (NUC). Another special feature of this camera is its operation in gated mode, which is ideal for applications in dense fog or smoke. It is available in compact and embedded versions.
The WiDy SenS 640 is the best compromise on the SWIR camera market.
It is available with the following interfaces:
- USB3.0
- CameraLink: Available in the standard and smart version
- GigE: only available in the smart version
- Analog: only available in the smart version; for Europe and America
- SDI (SUI & SDK compatibility): only available in the smart version
With these cameras, the “smart” camera version means that the built-in bad pixel replacement and NUC are processed directly in the camera.
Applications
The WiDy Sens 640 can be used for the inspection of semiconductors and solar cells. In linear mode, the camera is suitable as a (laser) beam diagnostics tool, whereas the (logarithmic) dynamic range can be used for monitoring additive manufacturing processes. The gated mode can offer extended possibilities in defense and security applications.
