Whitepaper: Health and Sanitization through UV Lighting

Gamma Scientific’s white paper “Health and Sanitization through UV Lighting” describes possible ways to determine the required light levels and exposures to sufficiently sanitize a surface.

With the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic a strong demand for UV disinfection lamps occured. UV light, especially in the UVC range from 255 nm to 265 nm has been shown to destroy the DNA and RNA of infectious viruses and render them uninfectious.
A dosage of UVC light of 20 to 100 mJ/cm² is normally sufficient to destroy most bacteria and viruses, including SARS-CoV-2. However, the question is how the exact dosage of light can actually be determined. Gamma Scientific provides solutions and the corresponding instrumentation in the following white paper:
