High-sensitivity SWIR cameras SenS 1280 and SenS 1920
SenS 1280 and SenS 1280 Smart
The SenS 1280 is a highly sensitive SWIR camera with an SXGA resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels and a pixel pitch of 10 µm. It is ideal for detailed and sharp images. Thanks to the linear response mode, the SenS 1280 has a high sensitivity. It also has a low readout noise of 30 e-. The specific properties of the sensor can be further optimized by installing the TE-cooled NSC1901T-SI sensor and the associated temperature control. The SenS 1280 has a “bad pixel replacement” and is equipped with an intelligent non-uniformity correction (NUC). Up to 8 vertically stacked blocks can be processed thanks to the integrated selective line scanning and Multi ROI.
If smart on-board image processing is required, the SenS 1280 Smart can be selected. In addition to built-in “bad pixel replacement” and intelligent non-uniformity correction, gain control in brightness and contrast and automatic integration time (AIT) are also implemented. The camera is also GenIcam-compliant.
The SenS 1280 is available with the following interfaces:
- USB 3.0
- CameraLink: as standard and smart version available
- CoaXPress: available only as smart version
- HD-SDI: available only as smart version
The “smart” camera version means that the built-in bad pixel replacement and NUC are processed directly in the camera.
Applications
The SenS 1280 can be used in applications such as semiconductor and solar panel inspection, (laser) radiation diagnostics or for defense and security applications.
SenS 1920
The SenS 1920 has a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) with an 8 µm pixel pitch. It is an ideal camera if detailed and sharp images are required. Compared to the SenS 1280, the SenS 1920 has an even lower readout noise of 25 e-. Thanks to the linear response mode, this camera has a high sensitivity. The specific properties of the sensor can be optimized by installing the TE-cooled NSC2101T-SI sensor and the resulting temperature control.
The SenS 1920 is available with the following interfaces:
- USB 3.0
Applications
The Sens 1920 can be used to inspect semiconductors and solar cells or in defense and security applications.
