Laser amplifier for seed laser (MOAL/MOAC)

The MOAL / MOAC are compact, robust and stable conical amplifier systems for wavelengths from 650 to 1080 nm, with an output of up to 4 W.
Three versions are available in the MOA series, depending on the existing setup.
The full-size MOA offers all the capabilities of the MSA, including the option of single- or dual-stage isolators at the input and output, as well as a free-space or fiber-coupled input and output.
The MOAL is a lean housing for those who do not need an isolator at the input and the MOAC is the even leaner design that does not provide an isolator on the output side either.

All three versions feature the same robust design as the MSA with the same bending brackets for both the input and output coupling lenses to ensure excellent passive stability and easy replacement of the TA diode by the user. By using carefully developed optics, MOGLabs achieves a very high coupling efficiency, so that the seed input power can be only a few mW, depending on the wavelength and output power.

Other options parallel to the MSA include an enlarged housing for integrating additional filters, single-mode fiber coupling, a double beam output (free-radiating or fiber-coupled), further improved ASE suppression using ultra-narrow (0.2 nm) bandpass filters or an integrated beam quality enhancement to reduce beam ellipticity.
