New at Mountain Photonics: Ti:Sapphire laser from VIULASE

by Kathrin Beckstein

Welcome, VIULASE!
The Vienna-based company is dedicated to the development of next-generation femtosecond laser systems and has been focusing on the production of commercial fs lasers for a wide range of applications such as ultra-high-resolution OCT, terahertz spectroscopy, 2-photon polymerization or multiphoton microscopy since 1998.
The focus is always on the stability, user-friendliness and cost-benefit ratio of the products.
The ultra-fast Ti:Sapphire laser Tenacity is based on the latest technology of direct diode pumping. It delivers an output power of up to 500 mW from a monolithic, compact laser head. The laser diodes are combined with a dispersive mirror design so that the femtosecond laser can be integrated into a single housing.
